Sessional Instructors, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Science

Brandon University is seeking sessional instructors in the Department of Psychology to teach the following courses from January to April 2021.

  • 82:375 Counselling Psychology II
    This course will emphasize practical strategies and skills of counselling. Students will gain experience counselling in analogue situations, using audio tapes, videotapes, role-playing, and direct observation techniques.
  • 82:451 Advanced Psychological Testing
    This course will offer students an advanced exploration of psychological tests, following a basic introduction in 82:370, Psychological Assessment. A variety of tests will be explored, assessing such domains as intelligence, personality, and aptitude within a variety of populations (children, adults and seniors). Upon completion of this course, students will be familiar with these tests which can be used as preparation for advanced graduate or professional training.

Qualifications: A PhD in Psychology is preferred; Master’s Degree in Psychology is required

Salary: $6,205.00 per course
