Sessional Laboratory Instructor, Department of Biology, Faculty of Science

Brandon University is seeking a sessional laboratory instructor in the Department of Biology to teach one section of the following laboratory class from September 2019 to December 2019.


15:366 Diseases

Responsibilities include laboratory preparation, instruction, clean up, and marking. The laboratory will focus on the use of diagnostic tests and the treatment of infections.


Laboratory Schedule: Wednesdays, 1:40 pm – 4:30 pm

Qualifications: Completion of B.Sc is a minimum requirement. Preference will be given to applicants who have previously taken 15:366 or equivalent.  Candidates should possess experience using basic laboratory equipment, techniques, organisms, including micropipettors, spectrophotometers, laboratory measuring tools, microscopes, molecular techniques (DNA, RNA).

Salary: $3,102.50
