Duties:

Mark assignments and tests for Basic Math and Contemporary courses and other related duties as assigned.

Course # positions Expected hours per lab assistant
62:090 Basic Math 1 3 hour per week (up to 30 hours)
62:152 Contemporary Math 3 3 hours per week (up to 36 hours)

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Registered student in BU
  • Minimum grade A in Basic Math or beyond (for marking Basic Math)
  • Minimum grade A in Contemporary Math or beyond (for marking Contemporary Math)
  • Background in other advanced math courses is an asset
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Be able to follow the marking guide and scheme efficiently and precisely
  • Be able to meet deadlines
