Number of Positions available: 5 (part-time staff may be considered)

Duties:
Assist in all aspect of conference organization, in particular logistics.
Prepare and distribute conference material (printed material, signage, etc)
Assist attendees in several ways
Assist oral presentations in presentation rooms, assist poster organization in the poster venue.
Go to Winnipeg twice (collect and return poster boards) – supervisor to coordinate and cover related travel expenses
Assist with attendees registration
and other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:
Computer-savvy (Microsoft products) – some of the work is computer-based
Flexible – there will be one day of work falling on a statutory holiday (May 20)
Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s license – there will be need to drive to Winnipeg twice
Personable – a large part of the job is helping people
Dependable – this is a very important role
Detail-oriented – there are several tasks that require strong attention to detail
Self-motivated and self-organized – there will be times of minimal supervision, so self-discipline is important
