David Stark has taught elementary music and choirs for twenty years for a variety of school districts. He is currently a music specialist for the Louis Riel School Division in Winnipeg where he teaches classroom music and guitar. David studied music at the University of Victoria, and Kodály music education (with Lois Choksy) at the University of Calgary. He completed a master’s degree in Ethnomusicology at the University of Alberta and he has been privileged to share his findings related to school house dances and music education at the International Kodály Symposium in August 2017. David cares deeply about quality music education and he is thrilled to be of service in the music teaching community.
