Preference will be given to those students majoring in French. (May not be shared).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fiorella Memorial Scholarship in Italiano <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Awards: 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be awarded to either: a) a student who demonstrates the highest academic achievement in six credit hours of Italian language courses at Brandon University, or b) if there is no eligible candidate as specified in point (a), to an entering student who has demonstrated proficiency in a modern language other than English, with preference given to Italian and Spanish.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>John Odin Scholarships<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Awards: 3; Matched by Government of Manitoba.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be awarded to students majoring in the areas of History, Philosophy, and Literature (English and French). Students must be proceeding from second or third year and have demonstrated high academic standing in their respective majors. One scholarship is reserved for each of the designated areas of History, Philosophy, and Literature. In the event that there is no eligible student in a particular area, the scholarship reserved for that area would be given to an eligible student in another designated area.
