Violence Prevention Policy & Procedures Online Training

Brandon University is committed to creating and maintaining a safe, productive and respectful work and learning environment that is free of violence.  An important part of that commitment is not only ensuring that it has a policy and procedures in place, but to promote a violence-free workplace and learning environment through education and communication.

This online training has been developed to equip the Brandon University community with knowledge and actionable steps to help prevent violence and to know the actions to take when faced with acts or threats of violence in the work and learning environment. This training has been developed in accordance with Brandon University’s Violence Prevention Policy and Procedures, under the Workplace Safety and Health Act and Regulations.

To access the 18 minute online training:

  1. Visit the BU Moodle site at https://moodle.brandonu.ca/
  2. Log in using your BU username and password
  3. Under Course Categories, click (00) Communication Websites
  4. Click Violence Prevention Training
  5. You will be prompted to enter an enrollment key (provided on the login page and guide below), click Enroll Me
  6. Click the Violence Prevention Policy & Procedures Training link to view
