The Brandon University Clarinet Festival<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is an exciting annual event that brings together professional musicians, music educators, clarinet enthusiasts, and students of all levels.<\/p>\n

Last year’s festival\u00a0\u00a0featured\u00a0internationally celebrated artists\u00a0\u00a0from China, Canada and the USA.<\/p>\n

Clarinettists included:\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Fan Lei<\/a>,\u00a0\u00a0Beijing, China<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christopher Kirkpatrick\u00a0<\/a>, Montana, USA<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pat Daniels<\/a>, Manitoba, Canada<\/strong><\/p>\n

Catherine Wood <\/a>, Artistic Director <\/strong><\/p>\n

The festival events included workshops, performances, product displays, masterclasses,a mass clarinet choir for all participants, and more!<\/p>\n

Performances in 2011 were\u00a0by:\u00a0 Brandon University Clarinet Choir, <\/strong>Brandon University Symphonic Band with soloists, Christopher Byman and Suzu Enns, <\/strong>Brandon Chamber Players<\/strong> concert featuring the World Premiere of\u00a0T. Patrick Carrabr\u00e9’s Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra.<\/strong><\/p>\n
