Graduates Achieve Outstanding Success on National Examinations in 2008!

This article is over 14 years old.

In 2008, graduates of the Psychiatric Nursing and Nursing Departments of the School of Health Studies achieved a 97-98‰ success rate on their first attempt at national registration examinations. Dr. Dean Care, Dean of Health Studies is proud of the graduates and says: “This is an outstanding achievement. It is a testament to the quality of instruction and learning experiences that students are exposed to while in the four-year bachelors degree program.” The Registration Examinations has been designed to assess the candidate’s knowledge base and their ability to apply that knowledge to diverse clinical situations. Once the exams are successfully completed, graduates of the programs are eligible to hold the professional designation of a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
