BRANDON, MB – Brandon University WUSC and Ten Thousand Villages invite everyone to join in World Fair Trade Day (WFTD) activities on Saturday, May 12.
WFTD is a wonderful opportunity for adults and children to discover a world of handicrafts, sample Fair Trade food, play games and hear music. WUSC and Ten Thousand Villages in Brandon will welcome customers with a sampling of Fair Trade food products, special discounts, prizes, surprises and entertainment by Merv Rollins on his drums from 2 to 4 in the afternoon.

BRANDON, MB — Every year, the top young woodwind, brass and percussion players from across the country gather to form the National Youth Band (NYB). This year, there are several Brandon University (BU) links.

BRANDON, MB – The Bobcats men’s volleyball team will once again be hosting a series of one-day rural volleyball clinics in the fall of 2012.
In September and October of 2011 the Bobcats visited more than 20 rural schools, and will look to repeat the success of last year’s program again this fall.

BRANDON, MB – Brandon University Bobcats men’s basketball coach Gil Cheung has started to reload after graduating two key players from this past season. The Bobcats lose fifth year starters Kyle Vince and Donovan Gayle, so Cheung has signed his first two recruits of the 2012-2013 season, both of which play a similar style to the pair they are replacing.
