Journal of Rural and Community Development Publishes its 10th Volume

Doug_Ramsey-225x300The 10th volume of the Journal of Rural and Community Development has been published online. Volume 10, No. 1 includes ten peer-reviewed articles and one case study ranging from the benefits of development for small farmers in Vietnam, to fostering rural youth in Ontario.

Over the past two years, the JRCD has worked diligently to publish 259 papers, 245 of which have been peer-reviewed. The JRCD includes standard editorials, regular refereed articles, and a book reviews section, in addition to shorter refereed case study articles and pieces that analyze particular policies and programs developed for, or impacting on, rural and small towns. Dr. Doug Ramsey is the chair of the Rural Development Department at Brandon University and the editor of the JRCD.

The JRCD is published by the Rural Development Institute.
