Rural communities are more than sites of extraction, they are sites of shared values with national significance. Dr. Koster, Lakehead University, moderated five presenters from Canada, Chile, Finland, and Japan. RDI assisted ACOA and the Rural Policy Learning Commons to shape this session. This lead session helped launch the National Prosperity through Modern Rural Policy, the 10th OECD rural development conference in Memphis, TN.
