Brandon University employees have surpassed their United Way fundraising goal — again.
During the Fall 2015 campaign, which wrapped up in December, a total of $13,757.50 was raised for the United Way of Brandon and District. That amount is nearly 15% higher than the official goal of $12,000.
The previous year, BU employees raised a total of $12,123 in the same campaign, again beating the goal of $11,000.
Payroll deducations and other donations to the United Way were coordinated by the Brandon University Community in Action committee.
Currently, the committee is planning an event for February.
