This article is over 8 years old.

A longtime Brandon University professor is back in a familiar role.

Dr. Austin Gulliver, a long-standing faculty member in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, has been appointed as the acting Dean of Science. He’ll assume the role on Jan. 7, for a term ending June 30, 2016.

The announcement was made Tuesday afternoon by Dr. Steven Robinson, acting Vice-President (Academic and Provost).

Robinson noted that it is a familiar leadership role for Gulliver, who previously served as Dean of Science from 2005–11.

Gulliver replaces Dr. Andrew Egan, whose term ends on Jan. 6.
