Brandon University professor named to provincial mining committee

Brandon University professor Hamid Mumin has been named to a new provincial committee that will provide advice on priority issues related to mining and mineral exploration in the province, and help advance the goals of Manitoba’s Economic Growth Action Plan.

Mumin, the chair of the BU Geology department, and a member of the BU Board of Governors, will be one of nine members of the new committee, which was announced by the province today.
