The Brandon University community is saddened by the passing of Shirley Douglas, a veteran stage, film and television actress who was a lifelong activist and a BU honorary degree recipient in 2005.
Douglas, who was also the daughter of famed Brandon College alumnus Tommy Douglas, died early Sunday.

Students whose courses were affected by the coronavirus pandemic this term will have new grade options that recognize the extraordinary challenges they have faced.
After receiving their traditional letter grades, students will be able to choose to convert them each instead to a “Pass” or “No Credit” grade on an individual and course-by-course basis.

The Faculty of Health Studies and the Faculty of Science at Brandon University (BU) have answered the call to assist the non-profit sector in Brandon.
The two faculties collected items to help with the containment of COVID-19 and delivered them to the Westman Women’s Shelter and Meredith Place on Wednesday.
