The concert, beginning at 7:30 p.m. CDT, will be streamed on the Brandon University (BU) School of Music Facebook and YouTube pages.

In September Rae won the 43rd E-Gré Competition, which featured singers this year. Raised in Calgary and based in Montreal, Rae is a soprano who has a Graduate Artist Diploma from McGill University. Rae has also recently participated in the SoundSCAPE Festival and Against the Grain Theatre’s Summer Modern Intensive opera program.

Plessis is a BU alumnus originally from Sparwood, B.C. He has performed as a pianist in concert series and music festivals across Canada and Europe.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s E-Gré Competition and Winner’s Tour have been virtual. Between late October and early November Rae and Plessis performed five live-streamed recitals, hosted by institutions across Canada, leading up to this final performance.
