Students and student-athletes at Brandon University will benefit for years to come thanks to a series of scholarships set up by one of the school’s most distinguished alumni.
Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister today announced gifts of nearly $260,000 that will endow two new scholarships at BU, as well as increasing the value of existing scholarships he had previously endowed.

Brandon University will require faculty, staff, and students to provide either proof of full vaccination or proof of a recent negative Covid test before they are able to come to campus.
Full vaccination will be required no later than Oct. 31, a date that permits members of our community to receive their first dose at our on-campus vaccination clinics Sept.

Most students, faculty and staff at Brandon University are expected to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as part of the University’s safe transition back to in-person instruction over the 2021–22 academic year.
The University will not require vaccines before the start of Fall Term, which is just three weeks away, but vaccination as soon as possible is strongly encouraged.

Nine Brandon University (BU) students are getting a boost for their research through increased funding from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
The students are recipients of this year’s NSERC’s Undergraduate Student Research Awards.
