Support for those affected by conflict in Ukraine

This article is over 2 years old.

Last night and this morning, many of you will have seen the news of the serious conflict in Ukraine. We know that many members of the BU community are connected to that area, and you may have family or friends who are directly affected. Our thoughts are with you.

You may be feeling anxiety, stress, or grief. Please reach out to access the supports that BU has in place for you.

Students can book an appointment with personal counsellors by calling 204-727-9737 or visiting https://www.brandonu.ca/personal-counselling/ for more options and resources. Staff and faculty have access to support through Homewood Health at 1-800-663-1142 or at https://homeweb.ca/.

We can also arrange to help you with study permit or immigration-related questions. The Office of International Activities can connect students, faculty, or staff with the right resources. Contact them at International@BrandonU.ca or by phone at 204-727-7479.
