To Blame or Not to Blame: BU professor profiled by Research Manitoba

Dr. Cameron Boult

Dr. Cameron Boult is conducting research into the divisive discourse that is an emerging trend in our society.

An Assistant Professor and Department of Philosophy Chair at Brandon University, Dr. Boult is an expert in the area of epistemic blame. His research examines how much people should be blamed when their opinions are based on emotion and deeply ingrained beliefs, rather than facts.

Research Manitoba has supported Dr. Boult’s work with a $17,850 grant, and recently caught up with him to discuss his findings so far.
