Bikes are a fast, convenient and healthy option for commuting and Brandon University encourages cycling as much as possible. The BU campus is conveniently located in a central part of the city and is along the Share the Road route.

A new book of articles by religion scholars from around the world includes a chapter by a Brandon University professor, and he says the sometimes-violent ancient religions he studies still echo in today’s world.

Dr. Kurt L. Noll, a professor in BU’s Department of Religion, is the author of “The Patron God in the Ancient Near East,” which is the first chapter in the new book.
Brandon University grieves the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
The University enjoyed ties with the Queen that included two visits, in 1970 and in 1984. The Queen laid the cornerstone for the construction of the James R. Brodie Science Centre during her first visit, which drew a crowd of 1,000 to campus.
As we begin another wonderful year at Brandon University, it is delightful to welcome everyone back to in-person learning. We are proud of our open campus, and it’s been great to see so many people filling our courtyard, front lawn, and other shared spaces.
BRANDON – Hundreds of Brandon University students thronged campus for the first time today for Orientation, meeting new friends, finding out where their classes are, and learning everything they need for a great start at the Fall Term.
This year’s Orientation is the first to be held in-person since 2019, and incorporates lessons learned from the two years of virtual delivery.
