Dr. Christopher Schneider is a sociology professor at Brandon University known not only for his broad expertise in policing and social media and in defining sexual misconduct, but also for his willingness to share that knowledge through the media.

A new tool has been launched to help Brandon University (BU) researchers share their expertise with media, industry, government and colleagues.

The Office of Research Services has partnered with Information Technology Services at BU to develop a searchable online list of experts, highlighting their areas of interest as well as their availability for taking inquiries from the media and public or for research collaborations.

It’s been a strong end to 2023 for Brandon University geography professor Dr. Doug Ramsey, who teaches in rural development.

Following two significant awards in November, from his geography peers, Dr. Ramsey capped the year by being named to the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation board of directors.
