\nBrandon University Physical Plant follows regulatory guidelines to ensure effective and safe controls for pest control on campus.<\/p>\n
To reduce the chances of an infestation, please ensure to follow the 3 R’s<\/strong> of rodent control:<\/p>\n REASON – <\/strong>get rid of the reason rodents are being attracted to your area such as sources of food.<\/p>\n ROUTE – <\/strong>eliminate any access points that rodents can easily gain access to the inside of a building (ie. piping in under sinks, washrooms, laundry rooms and hot water tanks.<\/p>\n REMOVE –\u00a0<\/strong>one rodents have been stopped from being attracted to an area and having access points, focus on removing the pests by calling Physical Plant to coordinate pest control.<\/p>\n Should you have evidence of pests (such as insects or mice), please contact our Phyiscal Plant office at 204-727-9620\u00a0 or submit a detailed work request through our FAMIS work order system.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
