{"id":4045,"date":"2022-06-24T13:59:28","date_gmt":"2022-06-24T18:59:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.brandonu.ca\/research\/?page_id=4045"},"modified":"2025-05-21T16:21:26","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T21:21:26","slug":"research-data-management","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.brandonu.ca\/research\/policies-programs\/research-data-management\/","title":{"rendered":"Research Data Management"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Research Data Management \u201crefers to the processes applied through the lifecycle of a research project to guide the collection, documentation, storage, sharing and preservation of data.\u00a0 RDM supports the effective and responsible conduct of research and increases the ability to store, find and reuse research data\u201d (\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.science.gc.ca\/eic\/site\/063.nsf\/eng\/h_547652FB.html\">Research Data Management<\/a>.\u201d\u00a0 Government of Canada.\u00a0 Accessed June 20, 2022).<\/p>\n<p>The Tri-Agency has adopted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ic.gc.ca\/eic\/site\/063.nsf\/eng\/h_97610.html\">Research Data Management Policy<\/a> that identifies the following three main pillars:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.
