Take a look at our Residence Resources page!<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.brandonu.ca\/residence\/resources\/\">Learn More<\/a><\/p>\n<\/aside><h2>Welcome to Darrach Hall!<\/h2>\n<p>With its communal washroom spaces, Darrach Hall was a single-gendered hall<span> for men.<\/span> In our mission to provide an <span>affirming<\/span> environment for all students, Darrach Hall is now <span>inclusive of the following genders:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cis<span>gender <\/span>Men<\/li>\n<li>Trans Men<\/li>\n<li>Non-Binary<\/li>\n<li><span>Two <\/span>Spirit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The communal washroom spaces have stalled toilets and urinal with no stalls. The showers have dividing walls and curtain, but have no stalls. There is one washroom per floor, with the exception of the basement. Due to the communal nature of this building, you may be seen walking to and from the washroom. Students have privacy within the shower by a curtain.<\/p>\n<p>There are no accessible showers in these communal washrooms.<\/p>\n<div class=\"flex-row \" data-column-group=\"1\">\n<div class=\"new-column-box  full count-1\">\n<h3>Gender Inclusivity<\/h3>\n<p>We at Brandon University Residence strive <span>to affirm all<\/span> gender<span>s <\/span>while remaining transparent <span>about <\/span>what we can offer with our current infrastructure. We recognize that gender is a <span>galaxy<\/span><span>, <\/span>and that <span>the language we use to define <\/span>gender may have different meanings to different people<span>.<\/span> Students are encouraged to speak to Derek Booth, the Residence Manager at <a href=\"&#109;&#x61;&#105;&#x6c;&#116;&#x6f;&#58;&#x62;&#111;&#x6f;&#116;&#x68;d&#x40;b&#x72;a&#x6e;d&#x6f;n&#x75;&#46;&#99;&#x61;\">&#x62;&#x6f;&#111;t&#x68;&#x64;&#64;br&#x61;&#x6e;&#100;o&#x6e;&#x75;&#46;&#99;a<\/a> to address any concerns or questions regarding gender inclusion in residence.
