Brandon University is moving towards a secure site that will require all faculty, staff, and affiliate employees (bookstore, daycare, BUSU etc) to have a valid key fob \/ card to access the Brandon University Buildings. \u00a0Data Integrity of our door access system is a critical exercise to ensure all team members have the building and property access they require. Physical Plant has actively been working with all departments and faculties over the last couple of weeks to validate key cards, fobs and student ID cards. This card validation process is for the Brandon site only, our Winnipeg RICE building site access has already been completed.<\/p>\n
We have discovered some inconsistencies in our data base and will require all team members to verify their current card \/ key fob via a live recorded door scan. Our Physical Plant representative Christine Hearn will be at various campus buildings as of Friday Oct 8th<\/sup>, 2021. The schedule noted below will ensure we are able to meet all team members without creating too much disruption to your day. Please ensure you are able to make every attempt possible to scan your card prior to Oct 15th<\/sup> ,2021.<\/p>\n
