scholarship is money granted to a student primarily on the basis of high academic standing, though other criteria may apply.

Recommended & Automatic-Consideration Graduate Scholarships

Many graduate scholarships are recommended or automatic-consideration, meaning that no application is required. Every student who meets all of the eligibility criteria below will be considered:

  1. Registration in Brandon University courses during the prior year;
    This requirement waived for graduate entrance scholarships.
  2. Minimum entrance (entering students) or cumulative (continuing students) GPA of 3.00;
    (Recipients typically have GPAs closer to 4.00.)
  3. Registration at Brandon University for the upcoming year.

Applied-For Graduate Scholarships

A number of applied-for graduate scholarships are also available, meaning that you have to submit an application in order to be considered. To be considered, you must meet all of the eligibility criteria below:

  1. Registration in Brandon University courses during the prior year;
