In all aspects, we respect and follow the direction of the individual as to how and whether they wish to proceed.<\/p>\n<\/aside><h2>Policy<\/h2>\n<p>Brandon University&#8217;s\u00a0new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brandonu.ca\/governors\/files\/Sexualized-Violence-Policy-June-2018-FINAL.pdf\">standalone sexualized violence policy<\/a>\u00a0was approved by the Board of Governors in Spring 2017 and is in place. It will be reviewed after one year and every three years thereafter.<\/p>\n<h2>Protocol<\/h2>\n<p>The Brandon University Sexual Assault Advisory Group is finalizing a response protocol based on the new policy. In the meantime, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brandonu.ca\/sexualviolence\/files\/BU-SV-Interim-Protocol-Revised-September-25.pdf\">our revised interim protocol<\/a>\u00a0clearly articulates how Brandon University will respond to reports of sexualized violence.<\/p>\n<h2>Annual Statistical Report<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brandonu.ca\/sexualviolence\/files\/2016-17-Annual-Report-Sexualized-Violence-BU.pdf\">Annual Statistical Report<\/a>\u00a0covering the period from May 2, 2016 to April 30, 2017.<\/p>\n<hr style=\"margin: 30px 0 25px 0;border: 0;height: 0;border-top: 1px solid #dedede\" \/>\n<h2>Feedback<\/h2>\n<p>We encourage collaboration between BU and the wider community as we strengthen our response to sexualized violence.
