We are setting out goals and objectives to add vibrancy, engagement and success for our students, people, and community.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We need everyone \u2014 on campus and in our community \u2014 to create this braid together. Our \u2018Built in Brandon\u2019 approach reminds us that our solutions may be unique to us. We can learn from best practices elsewhere but must implement them in a way that works here. We must consult with and listen to those who will be affected by our actions.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Built in Brandon\u2019 also reminds us that this is a process of construction. We assemble a comprehensive solution from plans and materials. It takes many people with diverse skillsets, all working together. Our \u2018Built in Brandon\u2019 approach is a series of actions that everyone can follow:<\/p>\n<div class=\"flex-row \" data-column-group=\"1\">\n<div class=\"new-column-box  third count-1\">\n<h3>Be<br \/>\nagile<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Move quickly&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Take chances, respond to opportunities, meet challenges head on. Acknowledge failure quickly and move to the next opportunity. Seize the day. Bias towards action. Get it done. 90% now is better than 100% never.<\/p>\n<\/div><!-- .new-column-box -->\n<div class=\"new-column-box  third count-2\">\n<h3>Be courageous<\/h3>\n<p><strong>&#8230;in the right direction&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Be bold. Do the right thing. Even when it\u2019s hard. Especially when it\u2019s hard. Take chances. Don\u2019t be afraid to fail. Be on the right side of history. Lead. Popular is not always correct.<\/p>\n<\/div><!-- .new-column-box -->\n<div class=\"new-column-box  third count-3\">\n<h3>Be inclusive<\/h3>\n<p><strong>&#8230;with everyone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Celebrate diversity. Seek out, respect, listen to and follow broad perspectives. Respect differences. Be caring and kind to all.
