Laura is the mother of two young children, a lawyer, farmer and going into her second year as chair of the Brandon University Board of Governors.\u00a0 Laura received her bachelor of civil law and a bachelor of common law from McGill University in Montreal.\u00a0 She completed her bachelor of arts at Brandon University in political science and history.
