Are you a new or newish woman on faculty at BU? This event is planned for you. We would like to invite you for a second date Wednesday, February 28th, 2018 from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m in the Louis Riel Room, just east of the Dining Hall. The feedback was very positive from the speed dating with mentors event that took place on September 27th, last fall. Several participants … and mentors … mentioned that they would like another “date.” If you have a class in slot 4 or 5, feel free to come for half the session, from 12:00 – 12:30 pm. or 12:30 – 1:00 p.m.
Celebration of International Women’s Day – by featuring out exceptional female students – a call to faculty to nominate students will go out in January – the ceremony to honour them will be held in the week of March 8th, 2017, on campus.
End-of-term Celebration lunch – an opportunity to share successes in the past year – over lunch – on a day between the end of classes and the start of exams, in April.
Spring workshop on Preparing your Dossier for Tenure, Promotion or Reclassification – recent recipients of tenure, promotion or reclassification share tips on preparing your dossier and walk you through what a successful dossier looks like – in early May.
