Vice\u2010President (Academic), or designate, who shall serve as co\u2010Chair, along with<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>the Associate Vice\u2010President, Indigenous Initiatives, co\u2010Chair; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>the Chair of the Native Studies Department; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>the Director of the Indigenous Peoples\u2019 Centre; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>one or more Knowledge Keepers, appointed by the Associate Vice\u2010President, Indigenous Initiatives;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>one academic Dean, elected by the Deans\u2019 Council;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>one undergraduate student appointed by the Director of the Indigenous Peoples\u2019 Centre based on an open call, for a one-year term; and<\/li>\n<li>one representative from teaching faculty members, selected by the Committee based on an open call, for a one-year term.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>The Committee shall:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li><span>serve as a consultation resource for faculty members and departments seeking to include Indigenous content in their courses and\/or have courses approved to satisfy the Indigenous Content Course Requirement; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>determine appropriate criteria and processes by which courses will be evaluated for Indigenous content; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>recommend courses that will satisfy the Indigenous Content Course Requirement; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>determine appropriate review cycles and review processes for courses approved to satisfy the Indigenous Content Course Requirement;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>conduct reviews of courses approved to satisfy the Indigenous Content Course Requirement in accordance with the review cycles and processes determined above; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>recommend continuation or removal of courses from the list of courses approved to satisfy the Indigenous Content Course Requirement; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>conduct periodic reviews of the criteria and processes by which courses will be evaluated for inclusion on the Indigenous Content Course Requirement list;
