Bell Let’s Talk – A Wellness Initiative

January 30 is Bell Let’s Talk Day

Mental illness affects people of all ages and all walks of life.  It can take many forms, including depression, anxiety and schizophrenia.  While most people find it challenging to live with their illnesses, the bigger challenge can be how they are treated by others.  The goal with Bell Let’s Talk Day is to achieve the same level of acceptance and understanding of mental illness as exists with a physical illness.*

Through various campus initiatives, Brandon University Wellness Committee supports positive physical and psychological health and wellness in the workplace. We encourage all areas on campus to start the discussion around mental illness and mental well-being.

Not sure what you can do or how to do it?

We invite you to take a quiz to learn more about mental health and mental illness.  Simply click on this link to participate.  All entries will be eligible for random prize draws to be done February 1.  This is a great way to test what you know and maybe learn something new!
