International Women\u2019s Day is a global day celebrating the economic, political, and social achievements of women past, present, and future. The Equity Review Committee (ERC) at Brandon University is continuing the work of the former Status of Women\u2019s Review Committee (SWRC) by recognizing exceptional student leaders who are making outstanding contributions to our community and beyond.<\/p>\n
The 2026 theme, #GiveToGain<\/a>, celebrates the power of generosity, mentorship, and shared action to advance equity for all.<\/p>\n \u200bTo ensure students from your faculty are recognized at this special event, they need to be nominated. Nominations can be submitted by completing the online nomination form. We request that you not inform the student of the nomination, so individuals can be surprised when they are contacted by a member of the organizing committee.<\/span><\/p>\n A worthy nominee is:<\/p>\n In particular, throughout the nomination, please share examples of how the student has helped to forward the University’s mission<\/a> in any or all of the following ways:<\/p>\n The first 12 submissions will be accepted this year, with priority given to graduating students.<\/i><\/p>\nNomination Criteria<\/h2>\n
