{"id":855,"date":"2014-02-20T11:36:32","date_gmt":"2014-02-20T17:36:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.brandonu.ca\/womens-week\/?page_id=855"},"modified":"2015-03-04T16:22:30","modified_gmt":"2015-03-04T22:22:30","slug":"mandie-woodson","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.brandonu.ca\/womens-week\/archive\/womens-week-2014\/mandie-woodson\/","title":{"rendered":"Mandie Woodson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>What education have you taken?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>I\u00a0took the\u00a0Paralegal Assistant Program at SAIT in 2002\/2003 and I will graduate with my Bachelor Degree in Science from BU in April 2014 with a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology.<\/p>\n<p><b>What accomplishments are you proud of?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>I volunteer\u00a0with the St. John Ambulance\u00a0first aid brigade, am the co-chair of a ladies social club called &#8216;The Rosettes&#8217;,\u00a0and\u00a0run my own wedding and party planning business,\u00a0&#8216;Flawlezz Eventz&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><b>Tell me about yourself\/ background\/ history.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>I am 29 years old.\u00a0I was born in Alberta and moved to\u00a0Swan River,\u00a0Manitoba when I was 8 years old.\u00a0I am the oldest in a family of 4 kids &#8211; I\u00a0have two younger sisters Chelsea\u00a0(27), Hannah (14), and a younger brother Jesse (13). I work 2 jobs at Westman Regional Laboratory, here in Brandon, as a Pathology Assistant and as a Medical Laboratory Assistant. In my spare time I love to read and spend time with my two pugs, Onyx and Tiki.<\/p>\n<p><b>Where do you see yourself in the future?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>I\u00a0am studying to write the MCAT this summer and\u00a0will be applying to medical school next year.
