REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education
  • Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain a Manitoba Teaching Certificate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Home Economics or Human Ecology experience is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of best practices in curriculum, instruction and assessment
  • Knowledge of Indigenous Perspectives
  • Excellent organizational and classroom management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, students, parents and outside agencies, as demonstrated through written and verbal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
