Happy Friday Everyone! Summer is behind us and the school year has started again. It can be overwhelming to switch back to work and study mode, especially if this is someone’s first semester at university. Here are some tips on how to manage time better: ➡️ Plan ahead: Make a schedule as far in advance as possible and include every task and activity you can think of. By planning, you can carve out the required time to complete each task and avoid feeling overwhelmed. Remember to schedule time for self-care and socialization! ➡️ Establish priorities: Not every task has the same importance. Some tasks can wait or be delegated. And after review, you may find some can be discarded entirely. ➡️ Build in flexibility: You can never predict how things will actually go. Be flexible in your planning and add “buffer” time before and after tasks to cover unexpected obstacles or changes. ➡️ Take care of your physical health: Eat nourishing food to ensure your body has the energy it needs to function well, and skip caffeine after 2PM for better sleep. Take breaks during the day with physical activity to reset your mental state and to get a helping dose of endorphins and dopamine, which offer positive, mood-boosting effects. #timemanagement #selfcarematters #organizedlife #askforhelp ...
