We can all use a bit of motivation today. Today's Motivation Monday is brought to you by Tiffany! Tiffany is in the Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nurisng program. What keeps you motivated on Monday?

I have recently been trying to alternate between making coffee and tea in the morning. I have always been a big coffee fanatic, but drinking tea tends to make me feel a lot calmer. I also add ice to all my drinks. Yes, I’m the type of person who orders cold drinks even in the middle of winter.

I often feel guilty for taking pleasure in reading books that aren’t textbooks. Though recently, I have downloaded eBooks onto my tablet to read whenever I have downtime in the car or at home. If anything, reading for fun has allowed me to detach from school-related stressors, even if it is just temporary.

Lastly, at the end of each day, I refer back to my daily planner to cross off tasks that I have completed that day. I used to feel “unproductive” whenever I failed to finish all my tasks, but as you can see from the photo, I have grown to use a lot of arrows to transfer unfinished tasks to later dates in the week. I have come to learn that just because you do not finish something today, does not mean it will remain unfinished forever.

Take care everyone!
