Makoose C Gamik Inc. is currently accepting applications for the position of Director of Service (Competition #2025-36).

The Director of Service is an executive leadership role responsible for overseeing all child and family services within the agency. This position ensures programs operate in compliance with legislation, provincial standards, and agency policies while supporting culturally grounded service delivery for the communities served.

Key Qualifications include:

• Post-secondary diploma or undergraduate degree in a social services discipline or related field (Social Work degree preferred).
  
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in child welfare or social services, including supervision and quality assurance.
  
• Knowledge of the Manitoba Child & Family Services Act and current system changes.
  
• Experience navigating the Provincial CFSIS system.
  
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with access to a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel.
  
• Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector), Prior Contact Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check.
