Lundar Early Years School 60% Permanent Kindergarten Teacher starting September 8th, 2026
Lakeshore School Division invites applications for a Permanent 0.60 FTE Kindergarten Teacher position. We are seeking a caring, student-focused educator with strong early years instructional skills and a commitment to inclusive classroom practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver developmentally appropriate Kindergarten programming
- Support early literacy, numeracy, and engaging learning environment
- Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
- Use assessment to guide instruction and monitor progress
- Contribute to student support planning and documentation
- Collaborate with school staff and student support teams
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development and early years pedagogy
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- Strong classroom organization and instructional skills
- Commitment to inclusive education practices
- Effective communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative school team
- Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (Uncertified teachers are considered when no suitable certified teachers are available)
