Sandy Lake Water Protection Group operates an inspection station for watercraft entering Sandy Lake and other lake in the vicinity. The Manager will be responsible for to the board treasurer, staff supervision and scheduling, data and financial management, record keeping and inspection of watercraft. Inspectors  communicate and educate boaters on the aquatic invasive species (AIS) program and requirements, inspect watercraft and related equipment, promote and educate the public to reduce the spread of AIS, record statistical data and database entry.

Applicants will require strong organizational and communication skills, experience working with the public and the ability to work alone is an asset. Training will be provided.

Applicants must be youth ages 16-29  to qualify for Manitoba Green Team funding.
