Our growing company is searching for top talent to join our team in the role of Shipping Administrative Assistant, reporting to the Shipping Manager. This opportunity is located in the community of Neepawa MB.
Your evenings, Tuesday – Saturday 6pm – 2:30am, will include:
- Providing administrative support to the Shipping team in a professional manner
- Performing general office duties & administration functions such as: filing, printing forms, scanning documents, & order supplies
- Communicating between shipping and all other departments
- Verifying paperwork for freezer transfer, chilled, and fresh loads
- Transport various documents & paperwork to and from shipping office and main office
- Managing of employee time & attendance, training logs, & other employee data entry tasks
- Anticipating and managing calendar schedules and activities with an understanding of general priorities
- Complies with all industry, food, & personal safety standards
To succeed in this role, you possess:
- Some administrative experience or Diploma in Office or Business Administration
- Work shift flexibility, shifts are dependent on needs and assignments
- The ability to perform in an office environment as a team-player
- Work independently with limited supervision
- Proficient computer skills, intermediate excel is a must
- Has initiative and is results-oriented with attention to detail
- Experience working with time and attendance software
- Exceptional customer service
