Probationary (Tenure Track) Position, Developmental Biologist, Department of Biology – Faculty of Science
The Department of Biology at Brandon University invites applications for a tenure-steam position in Developmental Biology beginning January 1, 2027, or as mutually agreed, subject to budgetary approval. The Department is in a period of active growth and rejuvenation, particularly with respect to modernizing our undergraduate program, and we seek an outstanding research-active individual who will contribute to this momentum.
Qualifications: A Doctorate in Developmental Biology, Biology, or a closely related discipline is required. Applicants may seek to establish an experiential/traditional equivalency to the Doctorate degree and are invited to contact the Office of the Dean of Science on how to establish equivalent academic or professional credentials.
Applicants with expertise in evo-devo, eco-devo, molecular devo, regenerative biology, or associated subdisciplines are particularly encouraged to apply. Evidence of research productivity is required, and preference will be given to applicants with a successful record of teaching and experience teaching developmental biology at the undergraduate level.
Rank & Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
