POSITION DESCRIPTION:

FTE/HRS & Assignment:
➢ 0.5 FTE, Teacher General
• Student Services – Grades 6-8
Start Date: September 8th, 2026

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
▪ Bachelor of Education degree
▪ Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

▪ Masters in Special or Inclusive Education or working toward
▪ Experience and/or education in student services
▪ Knowledge of best practices to support inclusion
▪ Experience developing and implementing student plans (e.g. IEPs, Student Specific Plans, BIPs, URIS)
▪ Knowledge of Indigenous Perspectives
▪ Collaborative, ability to work as a team, exceptional communication skills
▪ Excellent organizational skills
▪ Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, students, parents and outside agencies, as demonstrated through written and verbal skills
▪ Ability to maintain confidentiality
