POSITION DESCRIPTION:
FTE/HRS & Assignment:
• 1.0 FTE, Teacher General
➢ Culinary Arts Teacher
Start Date: September 8th, 2026

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Red Seal Certification - Cook
• Valid Manitoba Vocational Teaching Certificate

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts, or Education, is an asset
• Knowledge of best practices in curriculum, instruction and assessment
• Knowledge of Indigenous Perspectives
• Excellent organizational and classroom management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, students, parents and outside
  agencies, as demonstrated through written and verbal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and work with Kitchen Production staff
• Experience with the latest Culinary Arts equipment will be considered an asset
• Experience teaching students, particularly in diverse and multicultural settings will be considered an asset
