POSITION DESCRIPTION:

▪ Grade K-12 School

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

▪ Manitoba Teaching Certificate
▪ Minimum of five (5) years teaching experience with demonstrated leadership abilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

▪ Level 1 Manitoba Administration Certification, Level 2 Manitoba Principal Certification or
Certificate for School Leadership considered an asset
▪ Post-graduate in Education Administration (or related field) or willingness to obtain
▪ Understanding of Indigenous education, culture and traditions
▪ Effective communication with co-workers, public and outside agencies, demonstrated through
written/verbal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality
▪ Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize
▪ Possess a clear vision of what makes a great school
▪ Ability to work collaboratively with team members
▪ Ability to nurture and develop a positive school culture
