Southwest Horizon School Division is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Teacher at Deloraine School.

Courses will include Grade 1-9 Physical Education (85%) and Classroom to be determined (15%).

Preference will be given to applicants with training/experience in Physical Education as well as those who can demonstrate the following skills:

• Understanding of physical fitness principles
• Ability to demonstrate various sports and fitness activities
• Strong communicator who can engage and motivate students
• Conflict resolution
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
• Understanding of and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds
• Knowledge of safety protocols, injury prevention, and the ability to deliver outdoor education programming
• Promotion of extra curricular activities
