Southwest Horizon School Division invites applications for a 1.0 FTE Behaviour Specialist. The Behaviour Specialist is responsible for assisting school teams by providing specialized knowledge and coaching in the development, implementation, and evaluation of behaviour programming for individuals, groups of students, or whole classes. Consistent with the Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning policies of Appropriate Educational Planning, the Behaviour Specialist will contribute to the assessment of students with behaviour challenges, support the school team with interpreting and reporting assessments and other information, and work collaboratively in the design, implementation, and review of individual program plans. The Behaviour Specialist will demonstrate a strong commitment to student success planning in support of student learning and well-being and reports directly to the Student Services Coordinator.
