HyLife Major Projects Division is responsible for project development, design and construction, acting as its own General Contractor. HyLife is currently in the midst of an aggressive build-up of capital assets and structures. Our growing company is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in the role of Construction Project Manager, reporting to the Director of Major Projects. This opportunity is located in the community of Neepawa.

Your days will include:

• Manage the design process for both conceptual and detailed design
• Creating, issuing and tracking RFP packages, present analysis for approval
• Manage existing relationships and source potential new sub-trades and vendors
• Manage subcontracts and trades, identify and problem solve issues impacting schedule
• Develop and manage budgets for major projects, monitor and approve project spending
• Work closely with management to deliver detailed financial forecasts

To succeed in this role, you possess:

• Minimum 3 years of related experience with construction project management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Projects
• Proficient with reading and understanding construction documents
• Ability to thrive and excel in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a continuous improvement environment
• Experience working in industrial, processing or agricultural settings would be an asset, but not required
