Are you a dynamic, community focused post-secondary student that will be returning to school in the fall?
Then Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba – Prairie Mountain Region (Brandon office) is looking for you to join our team as a Green Team Summer Student!
Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba is a non-profit, self-help organization dedicated to providing support, education, and advocacy for those living with mental health illnesses through peer support and other services.
What YOU will do:
- Create fun and interactive programming for community members.
- Coordinate and organize events promoting Mental Wellness.
- Attend support groups and presentations in a peer support setting to assist those working towards wellness and building strategies.
What you need:
- A student returning to Education, Nursing, Psych Nursing, Psychology, or Social Services or a post-secondary student who is passionate about promoting Mental Health wellness.
- A community focused mindset and dedication to helping others.
- Criminal record check with vulnerable sector and both adult and child abuse registry checks.
- A Valid Class 5 driver’s license is an asset but not required.
