Applications are invited for a half-time (0.5) continuing Instructional Associate appointment in the Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing program at the Winnipeg Campus.

Successful applicants will be expected to be excellent role models. Responsibilities include providing lab instruction and clinical supervision to students in Winnipeg and surrounding areas.

Applicants should note that as soon as Brandon University is able to return to in-person course delivery, the successful applicant will be required to teach their classes in person rather than online.

Qualifications:

  • Current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the CRPNM or CRNM required;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing or Nursing is preferred (a combination of education and relevant clinical experience may be considered);
  • Recent clinical experience required;
  • Relevant teaching experience highly desirable;
  • Excellent communication/interaction skills
